and
Why Your Site Doesn't

Introduction

The best way to learn from this website is to read a short number of pages that I've arranged in a particular order. This is the introduction. If what I'm saying makes sense to you...

Traffic.

Your mama wants you to play in traffic too, maggot!

And of course, we all want the good stuff: free, organic, search engine traffic.

But here's something you might not hear from many of the other websites trying to get your attention with promises of increased traffic:

There's a way, but it's not easy. I can't sell it to you. You can't increase website traffic significantly just by adding a few lines of code.

How the Internet Works
and
Why Your Site Doesn't

Page 1 - Existing customer sites vs. new customer sites
Is your site optimized to be found by a) people who already know you or b) strangers who are looking for the thing you offer?

Page 2 - Meet your internet audiences
A working site satisfies search engines AND searchers.

Page 3 - Meet the 7 year old who can kick your internet a*#!
Intuitively, he does what you don't. Let's learn from him.

Page 4 - Look at your site as a searcher, not a searchee
You know what you want out of your site, but no one else cares! What can you do to satisfy those picky visitors?

Page 5 - The idiocy of SEO
It's a "shortcut" that ends up being a treadmill!

Page 6 - The secret to increase website traffic: It's the content, stupid!
All content is created equal, right? WRONG.
